trying out my producing skills…

Tommy my guitar player fronts his own band and they’re working on a 6 song EP…He asked me to help out with it, I told him, “I want to produce it” I love his songs they’re freaking catchy as hell,  His band is a little green but I’m working with them…

In fact last night was our first session.  We went through their songs and listened to the demos.  I went straight to work tearing the songs apart. Tweaking this tweaking that…

I’m excited to hear how it turns out…already in one evening the band has tightened up tremendously….maybe when we get further along I’ll record a video of them and post it…

Corned Beef Hash…hmmm

What is it about Corned Beef Hash I love so much? It’s freaking tasty…whats weird is I don’t even know what it is………reeeeesearchiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnng now…hold up

"Obviously, corned beef hash begins with corned beefCorned beef is beef brisket specially preserved. It is often a tough cut of meat and is usually slow roasted or cooked in a slow cooker over a matter of several hours. Corned beef is also found in those odd square cans that open with metal “keys.” The latter is usually used for corned beef hash. To make a “hash" of something is an English term for either messing up a situation, or just throwing something together. Corned beef hash is one of those “throw together” dishes. It has its roots in Colonial America, when corned beef was an important staple because it was preserved.

People extended dishes and made the most of what they had, so cooking the end pieces of the corned beef with diced potatoes made sense when feeding a large family. The recipe appeared in the Fannie Farmer Cookbook in 1918, although it had been popular along the railroad lines and on chuckwagons for years before.”

Ok! There you have it Corned Beef Hash…anyone care for some lol

This is my new music video Do What You Want To from my EP “Finishing What I Started”.  We shot this thing in like 6 hours.  And the white Corvette at the beginning was an after thought someone at the shoot had it and I wanted to take it for a spin and we decided to add it in the video some how.  The funny thing is, it over heated while we were shooting the car shot lol

Check this out…this happened yesterday…

The earth must be craving a bit more than a Sonic Burger. On Saturday, a combination of torrential rains and 25-year-old rusty pipes in Cleveland, Ga., opened what’s arguably a sinkhole beneath the tiny town’s only Sonic Drive-In restaurant and next-door car wash, nearly swallowing both buildings whole before customers and employees could escape.

Marvelous 3 Tribute: Update

So tonight me and Tommy are getting together for a vocal rehearsal.  To make sure we’ve got the harmonies down.  We have a third Marvelous 3 Tribute rehearsal tomorrow.  After tomorrow we will be 9 songs into learning our set.

I’ll make sure to post videos of tonight and tomorrow’s rehearsals at some point this week.

We are having a lot of fun.  Some of the parts are kicking my ass vocally but I’m getting them.  I’m gonna rock this shit…

Marvelous 3 Tribute…WHAT??????

so about uuuh I don’t know not that long ago, I was hanging out with the peeps at the usual hang out spot.  You know that one.  It’s my Cheers.  If you remember that tv show.  I’m surprised I do I was a tot :).  Anyways, the discussion came up “Monumental Tribute Shows”.  Because that’s what us musicians do when we get together.  We talk shop and try to figure out the machine. HOW TO MAKE IT!  what a crock…lol…moving on

What bands are cool enough to do a tribute show of? hmmm…  We threw a dozen or so band names back and forth and of course they were all to typical.  About the time we were giving up on it someone said “oh Erath what about a Marvelous 3 Tribute show, you sound just like that dude”, lol ha ha suck on it….so after a few drinks I said what the hell.  Lets do it right and make it a huge party…WHERE?

The 10 High Club…duh
