In fact last night was our first session. We went through their songs and listened to the demos. I went straight to work tearing the songs apart. Tweaking this tweaking that…
I’m excited to hear how it turns out…already in one evening the band has tightened up tremendously….maybe when we get further along I’ll record a video of them and post it…

So tonight me and Tommy are getting together for a vocal rehearsal. To make sure we’ve got the harmonies down. We have a third Marvelous 3 Tribute rehearsal tomorrow. After tomorrow we will be 9 songs into learning our set.
I’ll make sure to post videos of tonight and tomorrow’s rehearsals at some point this week.
We are having a lot of fun. Some of the parts are kicking my ass vocally but I’m getting them. I’m gonna rock this shit…

so about uuuh I don’t know not that long ago, I was hanging out with the peeps at the usual hang out spot. You know that one. It’s my Cheers. If you remember that tv show. I’m surprised I do I was a tot :). Anyways, the discussion came up “Monumental Tribute Shows”. Because that’s what us musicians do when we get together. We talk shop and try to figure out the machine. HOW TO MAKE IT! what a crock…lol…moving on
What bands are cool enough to do a tribute show of? hmmm… We threw a dozen or so band names back and forth and of course they were all to typical. About the time we were giving up on it someone said “oh Erath what about a Marvelous 3 Tribute show, you sound just like that dude”, lol ha ha suck on it….so after a few drinks I said what the hell. Lets do it right and make it a huge party…WHERE?
